Welcome – We’re making stuff for a good Kiwi Christmas

We’ve had such a good experience selling wallets last Christmas season we’ve decided to up the ante by making a new website with, you guessed it, an ONLINE SHOP.

We make (mostly sew) stuff from recycled materials in Wanaka, New Zealand

Gwilym and Merle

PS: If you’d like to order a wallet, crafted from recycled seat belts, right away then please email us at email@loopcase.com 🙂

About Loopcase

We live in a world of incredible resources and re-tasking them into valuable new uses is a form of poetry. This is what LOOPCASE is all about.

We live in the mountains in Aotearoa, New Zealand. We’ve always made stuff. It’s who we are. Merle is a maker, designer, surfer, alumni of WAI Wānaka and plantbased uber-cook, with a special eye for colours and flavour combinations. Gwilym is a designer/coder type and an alumni of The Wānaka Community Workshop, Cactus, Treble Cone, Wastebusters, Superscrews and kin2kin. Sewing is in the blood.

We are the parents of two wonderful children and want to spend as much time with them as possible. Hence this working at home gig. It allows for more gardening time too.We love making things to suit a purpose, so if you need a bag for something specific, please get in touch. We enjoy the challenge to make it just right!
